BOHEMIA ANGEL chovatelská stanice zlatých a labradorských retrívrů

The Golden and Labrador Retriever kennel Bohemia Angel was registered on 1 October 2002 (no. 905/02). This name will always remind us of our first black Labrador girl Angela z Krucemburských luk and it is because of her we fell in love with the Retriever breed. We realized that Labrador Retrievers are beautiful dogs with a wonderful temperament, high intelligence, with a strong desire to please and always appear to be in command of situation. Retrievers are excellent family companions, devoted, faithful and affectionate. These dogs are not ment to be left outdoors, but, rather, they should be considered a full member of the family.

Later we expanded our kennel with a Golden Retriever, which is not, in its character, that different from Labrador Retriever. Both breeds are very versatile. Although Retriever was originally bred as a hunting dog, it also will find its use in many areas of sport kynology, as rescue dog or detection dog helping to detect illegal substances in luggage, bombs and chemicals. For its intelligence and nice character Retriever is often seen working as a therapy and assistance dog.

We are careful to research pedigrees and observe dogs prior to mating to insure the best possible pups. Our goal is to improve quality of each litter maintaining standards of the breed. Our concentrated effort is to ensure that all of our breeding stock is certified and is free of inheritable defects and that we breed strong and beautiful dogs with great temperament.

Our Golden and Labrador ladies are our lifetime love and we enjoy their company. Our puppies are home raised, well socialized with daily care since their birth until leaving for their new homes. All adult dogs live with us in the house with a large garden and daily opportunity for trips in the surrounding countryside.
